Jenni Bick Custom Journals

Jenni started making books in 1990, crafting pretty handmade journals and photo albums on her kitchen table, and toting them up and down the east coast to sell at independent bookstores and craft fairs. To improve her craft and learn more about the art of bookbinding, she started importing the magnificent leather bound books she found in little workshops in Italy. Over the years, Jenni's one woman show turned into a thriving business that has grown to include her husband Robby, a crew of dedicated fellow book-lovers & paper people, and a tribe of loyal customers from all over the world. 

You can find Jenni almost every day in her Washington DC shop, still making books by hand, surrounded by rolls of high quality leather, sheets of colorful and textured artisanal paper, and beautiful bits and bops she's collected along the way (not to mention, like, 18 bone folders!). Together, the Jenni Bick team works hard every day to share their passion with you. 

We believe in the power of a pen and paper. Of writing things down. Slowing down, creating magic, expressing yourself, and sharing it with the ones you love. Because, for us, it has always been about the books.
