What is The Sunday Letter Project?

The Sunday Letter Project is a community writing initiative from Rebecca & Karl of Wildflower Illustration Co., designed to encourage and inspire as many people as possible to begin writing letters again. To take part in the project, you simply have to sign a pledge to promise to yourself that you will carve out a small pocket of time every Sunday to write a letter.

Who Do I Write To?

Ultimately - whoever you want. We have put together some ideas on our About page if you are struggling for ideas of who to write to. But to take part in the project you can write to anyone at all - your parents, children, siblings, strangers, yourself (to read in the future) - the choice is yours!

I would love to find a pen pal!

We have established a network of ‘Letter-Keepers’ amongst independent stationery & gift shops worldwide, that would work a bit like a Poste Restante service, and thereby avoid the need to share your address with strangers. You can find out more about how it works here.
