We’re a mother-daughter duo (and bibliocrones!) running Mewington’s Book Shoppe, a “big little” independent bookstore in the small coastal town of Foxton, New Zealand. We offer a mix of new and secondhand books, gifts, games, local art, and, most recently, excellent coffee.
We believe the atmosphere we've created lends itself perfectly to slowing down and writing a letter. Visitors can use our vintage Imperial typewriter or curl up in a cozy armchair with pen, paper, and a hot drink. And best of all, our three resident cats are always on hand to offer their opinions (or pass judgment, as only cats can!).
