Tinker & Makes

Tinker & Makes is a small shop in southeastern Minnesota dedicated to supporting makers, artists, and small businesses across the state. Inside, you’ll find handmade goods from Minnesota makers, along with creative finds that encourage people to slow down and make something with their hands. We also have a violin shop tucked in the back!

Harmony sits in the bluff country of southeastern Minnesota, a small town nestled among the rolling farmland. It’s also home to a vibrant Amish community and Niagara Cave, and here you’ll find the Root River State Trail winding through the river valley and neighboring small towns. It’s the kind of place where people still wave when they pass on the road and local businesses are part of everyday life.

We’re excited to be part of the Sunday Letter Keeper Project and serve as letter keepers, helping connect people across the country and introduce new penpals through handwritten letters. We’re so happy to help our community connect with you.
