B.T. House
B.T. House actually grew from 'Better Together' (IG : @bettertogether.bkk), the children’s clothing brand my sister Nini and I started back in 2018.
Over the years, our interests grew alongside the clothes: picture books, herbal tea, making things, and little activities we enjoyed doing. Eventually, all of those things needed a home of their own; so we decided to establish B.T. House.
And it really is a house! We wanted it to feel less like a shop and more like a home where our friends can visit. Somewhere anyone can browse a product, discover a book, join an activity, or simply sit and spend some quiet time (with or without kids). Everyone who comes through the door is our guest.
Here you’ll find our children’s clothes and accessories, herbal tea, lots of pre-loved children’s books, a little corner of picture-book lending library, and occasional art & craft and baking workshops, storytimes and gatherings. It’s a bit of everything, perhaps — but they’re all things we genuinely love and want to share.
It’s also very much just the two of us. We choose and make our collections, arrange the space, pack orders, plan activities and welcome people when they visit. I'm glad that you visited Bangkok back then. If you ever find yourselves here again, please do come and visit our little house. As random as things can get around here, you’ll still most likely meet one (or both!) of us whenever you visit.
That’s probably why the Letter-Keeper project immediately felt so right for B.T. House. We love the thought of handwritten letters arriving at our little house in Bangkok from people we’ve never met — and perhaps helping families here make a friend somewhere else in the world. There’s something wonderfully slow and human about it.
We’ve also dusted off an old working typewriter and will be keeping it at B.T. House for anyone who’d like to join in and type their letter the old-fashioned way. We thought it might add a little nostalgic touch to the whole experience.
