Pen to Paper

To give you a bit of background on our little place here. We are in our 26th year of trading, having opened the original shop at the end of 1999. The business was established by two lovely ladies in 1997. They provided art and design services, but both of their passions were in stationery. Hence the launch of 'Pen to Paper,' the retail arm of 'Monomania Limited,' the name of the original business. I bought the business in 2019 when I wanted to make Brighton my place of work as well as I had lived here for 10 years previously. My own background started in the printing industry when I was just 14 years old, I have never lost my love of the smell of freshly printed paper and the sound of a ream being carefully sorted. So the business was born from a love of stationery and has continued in the same vein. Since our original name was purely based on the previous owners' name, we decided to change our name to better reflect what we do and hence 'Creative Curators Limited' was born. Our philosophy is that we aim to supply everything related to pens and paper, and we seek to curate as many product lines as possible; it is all about the product choice. In addition, we provide online shopping, personalisation services for all our products, a lifetime service agreement for all the fountain pens we sell, support for the local 'Creative Community,' and significant discounts for our local students and businesses. I have to say I have a great team who love what we do and bring significant passion and energy to our success.
